Premium black teaOrigin:
ChinaThis is our signature blend of black Chinese teas from Yunnan and Anhui Provinces. Our master blender grew up on a farm in Kentucky, and many of his earliest memories revolved around the smell of freshly plowed earth, the leather on a horse's saddle, and the barn hayloft. He wanted to create a tea that reminded him of those experiences.
This full-bodied tea makes a delicious hot beverage for breakfast or afternoon tea. Rich and earthy, it will remind you of a morning walk in the Kentucky countryside - thoroughbreds not included.
We private label this tea for many restaurants across America.
Also available in pyramid sachets.
KENTUCKY TEA JULEP
No Derby Party is complete without a Mint Julep, and no Kentucky Tea Party should be without a Kentucky Tea Julep. We've teamed with our friends at Brown-Forman Distillers to bring you the best Kentucky has to offer - Kentucky Blend black tea with Woodford Reserve Bourbon and a splash of Tuaca or Cointreau. You're off to the races!
1 cup Kentucky Blend Tea, (brewed)
2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
1 ounce Tuaca Orange-Vanilla Liqueur
1 ounce simple syrup
1 cup crushed ice
1 sprig fresh mint
Brew Kentucky Blend Tea according to label directions. Allow to cool to room temperature.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle (crush) mint with ice.
Add all ingredients and shake vigorously.
Strain into glass half-filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with orange slice and mint.
I first enjoyed this tea @ Waveland Museum. I've purchased my 2nd tin and enjoy every sip!
This tea is consistently good. And the service is first rate.
I made iced tea today with KY Blend now I don’t believe I will be able to use another tea for my daily brew! Perfect smooth taste. Just 3 spoons of tea made 3 quarts of lovely brew and still strong like I prefer.
I love your teas. I am so glad I discovered Elmwood Teas in the Tea Time Magazine. The Kentucky Blend Black Tea is my favorite tea for breakfast especially, but anytime it is great. Very smooth.
This is my everyday tea.
