Premium oolong teaOrigin:
ChinaThis is a very affordable classic rolled oolong tea from China's Fujian Province, where black dragon literally means oolong tea.
This tea is both earthy and fragrant. It yields multiple infusions when you steep in small amounts at lower temperatures and short steeping times. Watch the leaves unfurl as they return to the size they were when harvested in Fujian. Can you spot the dragon's tail?
This is a great tea from Elmwood Inn.
Lacks a little depth but great quality and texture. I do <10 second brews with 175* usually fyi. Less floral and bite than tiequanyin, especially with over-brewing.
I personally haven't actually tried it but I make iced tea for my wife with this and she loves it.
I love the flavor of this oolong. I have purchased it several times of the past years. One of my favorite teas.
I remember having some amazing black dragon oolong back in a tea shop in Savannah and I thought this might be the one, it is close but not exactly the same. It makes a satisfying cup and a nice finish with many notes. I would recommend this as a nice mid afternoon tea.
