This organic Genmaicha is crafted with an artistic blend of 53% sencha and 47% brown rice that creates a distinct savory aroma.
There is hardly any taste which is important to me. I can taste a hint of the rice but it's faint. I don't hate it but not my favorite. I won't be ordering it again and not sure I'll drink it all.
I love that this blend is from a time when extending the supply of foodstuff was critical. The rice adds a bit of a smoky flavor to the green tea flavors. Enjoy!
My favorite vendor I've tried so far. I had to get a lb because I drink about 8 cups a day of it! I like boiling the water after a few brews, the toastyness with the astringent sencha is an excellent combo
